When the clipping section marker’s gumball is grabbed, the section cut of a surface is a solid line (IMG 1), but once the gumball is let go, section cut line is dashed (IMG 2) even though no section style was modified. Other objects section cuts are showing solid line just fine (IMG 3).
I can’t figure out how to keep the section line of the surface continuous. The surface is a trimmed surface.
Hello- if the problem occurs without the other stuff in the file, please export that object(s) and the clipping plane to a new file and post it here or send to tech@mcneel.com, with a link back to this topic in your comments.

Deleted everything except the surface and section clipping, and it the section cut line still appears dashed. Here’s screenshot / file.

Any updates on this, please? I’ve been trying to make section cut lines, but it keeps disappearing instead of a continuous cut line.
RH-80324 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 16
