Section Activation Defeats Per-face Material Assignment in Raytracing

In the accompanying file, the object has a material assigned to one face. At some point in the host project’'s life something happened to cause this assignment to revert back to default material when raytraced with the section activated:

Hi @djhg,

I see the problem, rendering with the section enabled doesn’t take into account the material. I am reporting it to find a solution; we will keep you updated.

This only fails when the material assignment is per face. The workaround is to apply the same material to the entire polysurface, but where differeent materials are required, different polysurfaces have to be created.
