Script to match a hatch?

Hello friends,

Wondering if some kind soul could write a script that would allow us to select a closed curve (or several), and match a hatch that’s already on our drawing. This would save the time of scrolling through the hatch list and picking one out, and setting the scale and rotation. As someone who spends all day creating construction drawings, it would be a real time saver. Thank you:)

Here is a quickie hatchhack… Only works with a selection of closed planar curves, did not consider boundary hatching…
