Script: Select only the vertical edges for fillet?

Unless you specifically need to script this-

you can prepick these before you run the command by holding ctrl+_shift and then drag select the edges as needed

Thanks for your quick reply.But if they are many in number and remains ups and downs,it will be very difficult to select each and every verticle edges by pressing ctl+shift,that’s why i am asking for a trick to select all the verticle edges.However thanks a lot for giving me the opportunity to ask questions?

that’s where the drag select comes in-

if you are not aware, rhino has two modes of drag selection, if you go from right to left it picks what you touch if you go from left to right, it only select what you completely enclose with the marquee- play with it go from bottom to top, or top to bottom for different results. It’s a subtle but useful little UI functionality
