An object is being viewed as ‘shaded’. You go through the saving process (Save as/save/Rename it’s all the same) & it looks like the file has saved. Go & look for the file though & you’ll find it hasn’t been saved. At all. Anywhere.

Sorry, but I cannot duplicate what you are describing. I also don’t fully understand what you are describing, because I don’t understand what “viewed as ‘shaded’” has to do with saving a model. They are unrelated items. Are you saying that when you don’t “viewed as ‘shaded’” that everything works as you expect?
