Saving or exporting Tool Palettes

I’ve created a tool palette and would like to back it up, save it somewhere else as a file on my Mac for the next time I reinstall a Mac (such as I just did after getting a new one)

ExportPreferences and ImportPreferences ought to do the trick.

I can’t get this to work for me, nothing happens when I import??

Can you please share the preferences file here? ExportPreferences ought to work.

Perhaps there is something wrong with the file itself.
