Short version: Saving the active file while in Worksession results in support image files accociated another attached file being “packed”. These files have nothing to do with the file being saved. This wastes time.
Details: I am working on a project in Worksession with an almost 600MB file containing photo textured meshes attached as a reference. The active file so far has contained only points and curves with nothing textured. Everytime I save the active file a set of image support files associated with the meshes in the attached reference file are “packed” These image files have nothing to do with the active file being saved.
Is this intentional? If so why?
