is it possible to save families created from Rhino.Inside.Revit into a folder allocated on a BIM360/ACC Project? I’d like the team to save their WIP families in a shared area, rather than having all families spread around their local folders or severs.
Can you show us the RIR about box with the Revit and specific RIR version?
Also, can we see some of the specific inputs and outputs of that current component?
There have been some changes to the BiM360 naming that may be getting in your way.
hi @scottd,
thanks for reaching out.
Revit version is 2022.1, RiR shall be the latest one as of today (1.9.8326.30114).
I was trying to save a Generic Model Family created with some geom from Rhino (Create family node) and then save this on a particular folder path in my ACC repository
(I omit the actual paths and names for privacy, but before it was a folder path like "C:\Users\XXX\ACCDocs\ProjectAccount\ProjectName\Project Files\Family Folder"
hi @Japhy,
the screenshot below fails because I didn’t add the right folder path and name…
please refer to the first screenshot. The New familt component was working (and creating the family in the Revit environment). The red error comes when adding an ACC path…
maybe I’m adding the ACC path in the wrong way… what’s the format it shall be?
hi @Japhy,
thanks for flagging it, I’d investigate why I can’t save the family, it seems that it works only I drop the family in the Desktop Connector or in web portal. I’ll give an update, thanks!
the service shall be back online now, but the permission still persists, I’ll investigate this tomorrow with the Admin on the ACC project to check if any particular permission has ben set up
