Save default locations

@AndyPayne or @andyopayne - I’m having some trouble with save locations.

The image folder I specify for a slider animation in Grasshopper is the last remembered folder when opening the next file in Grasshopper. This is messed up and useless.

For slider animations, I would want to spec a child folder of my image drive.

For Grasshopper, I think one option would be to go to the directory of the current Rhino file and if that does not exist, a user set default folder.

Animating a slider is particularly annoying. I set up a viewport with a named view. In the dialog I need to select the camera and then also specify a folder which more often than not has the same name.

Is there possibly a way to script a slider animation?

I do agree the whole thing is old and unfriendly.
The animation should run without necessarily saving. This way you could see and test the animation several times, and make the settings for saving only once when you’re ok with the result.
