# Save data as f3grid

Hello everyone,

I want to ask if it is possible to save the data points as an f3grid file in Rhino. Which I want to use in FLAC3D. I am looking forward to your positive response.

Rhino doesn’t natively export f3grid files. You’d have to create a script that writes such file. If you are only looking to export gridpoints, [apparently](https://docs.itascacg.com/flac3d700/common/docproject/source/manual/program_guide/mechanics/otherinputs/gridformat.html) you’d only need to a “G” followed by an ID number and the x,y,z coordinates…
