RunPythonScript does nothing

It’s been a while since I’ve used RunPythonScript, but I think I have my workflow right: it should just be a simple RunPythonScript followed by a dialog box that let’s you pick your file, right?

Anyway, in my current Rhino build, I’m not getting that box, so I can’t run any scripts.

Am I doing something wrong, did I miss something, or is this a bug?

It runs fine for me.
I’m running 2014-11-10 (5A580), set to expire on December 20th.

Are you running an older build?

2014-07-28 (519), set to expire September 6, 2014? How is that even possible? I know I’ve updated since then.

I’ll try downloading a new version, and get back to you.

Perhaps you clicked on “Keep both” and are running the old one.

It doesn’t look like that’s the issue. Anyway, I just downloaded the 2014-11-10, and the License Manager will not save my License. Is there a special combination of Name and Organization I should be using?

Did you enter the key code that showed up on the Download screen and was in the email message sent to you by Brian Gillespie?

Yes.

“Failed to Save Rhinoceros 5 Standalone License”

Hmmm…
I don’t know. The MR5B key worked fine for me.
Maybe @JohnM or @brian will have an idea.

I believe @johnm is working on this with @marlin an @dan.

I’m looking into the license file writing issue now.
