Hello. I have 6 apartment blocks that will be covered with shaders/planes. I have created the planes with Lunchbox and I am trying to rotate all of them outwards (their bottom edges father away from facades). I have tried various methods but I couldn’t solve it, I think it could be done with point attractors but I don’t know much. I hope I could find some help around here.
I am uploading the best version I could make, but one side rotates inwards in this.facadepanels4.gh (1.1 MB)
Odd… I see what visually appears to be six breps, yet the wire style and a connected text panel say is a single ‘Open Brep’? This is confirmed by Deconstruct Brep which shows 962 faces, all in a single branch? What’s going on?
I am new to Breps so I am not sure, but i think it is beacuse these were connected. They were bridged from the areas that are holes now. I deleted the bridges because I do not need panels in those areas, is it causing a problem?
I’ve never seen disconnected breps appear as a single object like that, even when baked. Is this SubD stuff from R7? I don’t have the missing plugins noted above so can’t help on this one.
Okay thanks anyways Yes it is Rhino7, it is very new for me too.
Here’s one way how I would do it for the panel rotations.
Maybe there are other simple ways of doing it.

Thank you very much this is exactly what I was trying to achieve I understand that my main problem was with listing the edges properly and now I see how it can be done. For the next step I was planning to gradually reduce the number of these planes from bottom to top (like a gradient). For this purpose I increased the number of planes, but now some of them are missing (the ones that are in the edges of faces I think). Do you have any idea how I could fix it? You have helped me so much already, thank you
I am attaching the gh filefacadepanels6.gh (1011.6 KB)
Thank you very much. You have helped me a lot, I hope you have a very pleasant day
