Hi all,
While we keep developing RhinoLands 7 with many improvements and new features, and preparing version 6 to support Rhino 9, that’s coming soon, we haven’t forgotten about you!
RhinoLands/Lands Design 6.6 is already available for download.
This minor update fixes some errors, crashes and freezes we detected last months. Here is the What’s new list:
Improvements:
- Plant Photo and Label’s leader head and curve are now flat, so that the whole object is 2D (contained in a plane). This way user can elevate it to easily control the z-ordering in respect to other 2D objects on the Planting plan.
Error fixes:
-
Level Mark not elevated to Terrain during insert, on AutoCAD.
-
In
laWalkcommand, in Fly mode, when view direction was parallel to Z axis (for example, when starting from a Top view), moving to left/right was applied to the screen vertical axis. -
Ramp not elevated to terrain.
-
laShrubcommand asked for a “path” curve when requiring a “boundary” curve. -
Per-square-meter Shrub didn’t work with non-planar closed curves.
-
la2Dandla3Dcommands had no effect on Row objects. -
Osnaps didn’t work on Urban Furniture blocks.
-
Image previews not displayed when Cloud Images were enabled in Plant Database.
-
Wall objects not rendered in nXtRender.
-
Terrain division area could be 0 if division curve was not planar.
-
Lands commands didn’t show any content on Help Panel.
-
After exploding a Lands object, some entities had layer set to “By Parent”.
Crash/freeze fixes:
-
Crash in Lists ordered by the icon field.
-
Crash in Lists with no icon field, like Terrain List.
-
Crash when a Plant Species was inserted into a document with Lands settings from a newer Lands version.
-
AutoCAD crash when zoning an existing Terrain division.
-
AutoCAD freeze after selecting objects, sometimes.
