[RhinoCommon] How to add new view to list of views?

(Menno Deij - van Rijswijk) #1

What I would like to do is to create a new view, such that the list with Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Persective etc. is extended with views that have other names.

When I use ViewTable.Add(title, projection, rect, floating) I can open a new view, with a custom title, but this view is not “persistent”. After closing it, the user cannot re-open it from the list of defined views.

Is this possible, using RhinoCommon?

Rhion does not allow you to extend the list of predefined view types (e.g. Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Front, Back, and Perspective). But, you can add named views, which can be manipulated with the NamedView command. Named views are stored on a per-document basis.
