Rhino8, offset creates extra controlpoint bug

Hi,

I’m working in the new rhino8 SR4 (88.4.24030.15001), when I run the _offset command rhino creates an extra control point. When offsetting that curve some more the position of the controlpoint also shifts.

I don’t think this should be happen. See video for details.

What causes this to happen? I’m not sure if its also in previous versions of rhino8, but I don’t think so (or at least in the past months I didn’t notice it before, just upgraded to SR4).

Hope that this can be fixed, thanks in advance!

Yes, this has been reported and a fix is “in progress”

Hopefully the fix will be released soon.
