Rhino8 not responding and crashing. Nvidia Geforce RTX 2050

Hello,
Rhino8 is not responding and crashing on new gamers laptop, when using a not so large 3D model.
The video card is Nvidia Geforce RTX 2050. Laptop HP Victus.
Any special settings I should use to avoid the ‘not responding’ freeze?

Here’s the ‘Command: SystemInfo’:

And from NVIDIA control centre:

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I guess the first thing I would try is updating the NVidia driver to the latest and see if that helps…

Also, it would be good to already update to service release candidate for Rhino 8.5 through Tools > Options > Update and Statistics. Set update frequency to Service Release Candidate.

Ok, just updated it to latest 8.5

you still need to ensure you are on the latest available Nvidia driver if you haven’t already.

When you do update make sure you go through custom/advanced install and check clean installation.

Ok I had it updated doing this in Device Manager:

Would you know if that’s enough, or shall I download NVIDIA software GEFORCE Experience?

Don’t use the device manager to update. Instead download from the vendor. This is the latest for your GPU:

Great thanks, I updated it, and it seems to work better already.
