In Rhino 7, I would be able to select individual surfaces on a polysurface with ctrl+shift click. I’d then be able to apply a displacement map and it will work as expected.
In Rhino8, the same workflow ‘works’ but the model does not get updated and the displacement map is not visible.
The model seems to work when the surfaces are separated from the polysurface but the main benefit for me from being able to ctrl+shift click the surfaces is being able to apply a negative value for the displacement maps, allowing for the map to embed itself into the polysurface.
Am I missing something here?
