Rhino Zoo requires administrator rights to run

Hi there,

Whenever I run Rhino Zoo it requires administrative access, which is a pain as it requires contacting our IT team each time for credentials. Does Rhio Zoo need admin access? None of our other apps have this issue. A way around this would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Simon.

The Zoo is a Windows “Service”, not an application. The advantage is nothing has to be manually started or run after Windows restarts.
The disadvantage is only the local Windows Administrator has access to these Services.

Microsoft rules, not ours.

Why would you, as a Rhino user, need to concern yourself with running the Zoo, rather than your IT department? Is there something unusual about the Rhino administrative/management setup within your organization?

Cheers for the replies everyone. We outsource our IT and currently keep much of the licensing in-house.
