Rhino WIP - Grasshopper plugin doesn't show up in menu

I downloaded Rhino 9 WIP and try to install the plugins I’m using.

Lunchbox worked well and is installed, but Crane seem to install, but after restarting Rhino it doesn’t show up. I tried several times.

I had some issues with Crane before in Rhino 8, I wanted to try it in the WIP, but that’s very hard when it just doesn’t appear in the menu bar at all.

What can be the issue?

Perhaps it requires Rhino to be running under the .NET 4.8 Framework instead of the default .NET Core?

I see there is a version for “Rhino8 or upper” on Food4Rhino. Is that the version that you are using? If all else fails, I’d contact the authors through the support email address that is found on the Food4Rhino page.

Dear Wim,

Thanks for the answer. To be honest I have no idea what .NET 4.8 Framework or .NET Core is. If I search for it online it seems to be related to Microsoft. I have a MAC, does you answer still apply?
