What are Clipping Drawings?
Clipping drawings are 2D geometry generated from clipping sections and can be placed anywhere parallel to World-XY plane.
Why Zooming is useful?
In a model with a large number or clipping drawings, it might be difficult or time consuming to locate and zoom to a clipping drawing. Also, since drawings layers are typically locked, it is not possible to select drawings to zoom to them. The new zooming functionality will help zoom to these clipping drawings by selecting the corresponding clipping planes.
How to zoom to clipping drawings:
- Click inside the viewport you want the drawing to zoom in.
- Run ZoomClippingDrawings command and select the clipping-plane(s) to zoom to in the current viewport.
