Hi The copy button opens a panel—why isn’t it a direct copy-to-clipboard action? like Ctrl+C, copying the viewport directly to the clipboard without any UI popups.

That is not the function of that button. It copies a screenshot of the viewport into the clipboard. It’s running _ViewCaptureToClipboard
