He used a template with 5 or 6 Boeing 888X Concept (Exterior and Interior)

What about having the Command Option dialog [popup] Left-Justified not centered ? [so it can be as small as needed and not more then that]

And what about allowing transparency in it’s background [as it always popup on top of something, and sometime you need to move it because it obscure something that is needed to be visible at that moment.
Semi transparent floating dialogs are nicer and more user friendly.

It might be nice if the Search Mode bar activates at the mouse cursor, since that’s where you are always looking.
One thing to try as well is to switch to Search mode and then dock the searchbar as soon as it pops up. You will get:
The options will then show in that same UI space like this:

Hey @Akash, you can place the option dialog where you want and it should remember its location for next time. In the next WIP release you should also be able to resize it to fit your needs better.

Interesting but please test for multimonitor use on both platforms as part of the development. We still have a BUG in Rhino 8 SR 23 when adding new Panels or New Toolbars on dual monitors, when Rhino 8 is not on the primary monitor. Also pop-up-windows like _Text and the ColorSelector is not very consistent or logical in where they appear (or they don’t appear at all)

I don’t know if it is mentioned before, but instant Alias doesn’t work with ETO. To bad because search mode docked looks amazing.

Tried the new command line interface on the latest build: Right-click to repeat last command is broken for me. Numerical values from the last command get called up to repeat, resulting in e.g. “Unknown command: 12”
See the sequence of images below.
- _Move, Enter
- Point to move from, Enter
- Point to move to <40.000>: 12, Enter
—End of command
Then I try to repeat the last command, but 12 for some reason is in the command line. This is the actual bug, I believe.

Enter to repeat, which results in 12, Enter
followed by my second attempt to repeat, resulting in -
Unknown command:12
Pls note that this is an action performed from motor memory. I am not checking what is in the command line, it should be empty. So I do not intentionally enter 12 as a command.

Hey @FrankS, thanks for the feedback! I noticed this the other day and fixed it already, so hopefully this should be fixed with the next WIP release. If it’s still a problem after you update, please let me know.

Thank you @curtisw for bringing history command line to the Mac. Now my main computer is a Mac again and I (almost;) do not miss anything regarding Rhino3D.

@Jess I’m curious to hear what you miss.
@Gijs some minor flaws have already been mentioned in this thread. Other Eto issues I’ll report in separate threads like the more complex dialogs which do not always work like expected.
