I’m trying to work from home and I tried both Windows Remote Desktop and Teamviewer, and weirdly in both cases, turning on any ortho view turns the viewport black, and performing almost any command, like line creation or even simple moves, also turns the viewport black for the duration of the command, making remote work impossible. 
I use VNC for remote work. I prefer that because it doesn’t touch the driver at all.
For remote desktop you probably need to start Rhino before you connect to the machine - not sure about teamviewer.
