There is no GH1 category so I am making my remarks in general category.
I think this toolbar becomes too cluttered:
I believe all the material types can be put under inner menu inside one component.
For a guys like myself, that rely on a visual memory, it is another set of icons to remember.
There is also lots of room here where we deal with visual properties.
