Rhino text won't load, displays as surface

I have a problem where the text is replaced as font-sized surface. The world xyz also are displayed as surfaces, and any other text. I have tried reducing the angle and units tolerances but it doesent fix the problem.

Hello - I am not sure I follow at all, but, can you post an example file, and also please run the
SystemInfo command in Rhino and post the results here.
