I have used real coordinates for rhino sun and placed this in vray as my environment (using texsky / rhino document sun) for some reason the rendered image is over exposed. What am i missing here to get a well lighted render? do my objects need to be placed in true coordinates in order for this to work and how do i place them?
You are probably not adjusting the camera exposure on Vray Options. Check some tutorials like this one:
If you’re a lynda member, I have an entire course on Architectural Rendering with Rhino and V-Ray, including a whole chapter on sun-lighting and camera exposure.
Not a member? Here’s a link for 10-days free. You can watch the entire course in under 4 hours and also check out any of the thousands of other courses. Sweet!
