Rhino slow and performance hindered when compared to 3dmax2020

I just loaded up 3dsmax2020 and loaded a detailed obj model in it and was surprised to find the performance was superior to Rhino in all ways. No bugs on import and I was able to add other models and render quite quickly.

In Rhino the model takes forever to load doesn’t display the imported textures correctly (in fact a bug there) and was just a sluggish beast. Instead Max let me do many operations without waiting or hindrances, unlike Rhino v6, like animation, adding grass and rendering as well as quickly moving things in the viewport.

Rhino has never had max outperform it and V6 was supposed to have such great speed enhancements. This is the first time max has out performed Rhino in power in all these years of using both products.
