Rhino Render R8 vs. R7

I’m getting close to completing R7 renders of a set of models that I’ve created over the years, just for the satisfaction.

I’m thinking of downloading the R8 demo and rendering a few of them to see if there are improvements to R8 that will cause me to ‘pull the trigger’ and upgrade.

Can anyone give me an idea of what, if any, improvements there are to R8 render?

v8 render is based on a newer cycles that is significantly faster. i wish i had v8 two years ago
