McNeel should contemplate the development of Rhino, which is based on GNU/Linux. The Windows OS is unethical and immoral due to the extensive collection of user data (excluding overt ‘BS services’ such as the Recall feature in Windows 11) since at least Windows 7. The system contains over 150-250 backdoor features that collect and monitor user data written in the OS (keyboard typing logs as well). The backdoor ‘malware’ has grown with each iteration of Windows OS.
My intuition says that future generations (beginning with Gen Z) will migrate to the Linux OS. This is a wake-up call for RhinoDev.
Ah yes, lets only point out the security flaws in Windows, and conveniently overlook the several huge security issues found in the past couple of years (like this crazy one, not to mention big holes in other software integral to many linux systems…)
And lets not even contemplate the utter madness of DOGE.
I’m not sure how you’re reading this, but even “unknown” OS has larger share than Linux… (and on distrowatch Rhino Linux is all the way down in 47th spot…)
