Rhino not responding even after inserting the correct license

I downloaded the correct version of Rhino and have accurately inserted the license when prompted to do so. However, the program is taking ages to load correctly with the green bar going on and on in the dialogue box, and the only message communicated from the systems end being ‘please wait’. I have been waiting for a very long time. It is imperative that I begin to use Rhino immediately. Please assistance is needed in rectifying the delay and fix any glitches. Thanks
