Sorry, but not sure how to search answers on this in short time.
I’m trying to do maintenance, on any potential unused licenses I might have.
I suspect I might have 1 that is a V7 upgrade.
Problem is I can’t add licenses onto my account from V4, V5, etc cause some “cloud zoo” silliness.
So, not easy for me to follow the bread crumbs.

I added the v7 one I mentioned and it looks like the 6-8 chain on the other one disappeared
bruh…
The usual recommendation for questions about licenses is to contact McNeel Sales for your area.

Yes, I found you have a Rhino 7 upgrade license under your Rhino account and a new Rhino 8 upgrad license is ready to assign.
Becasuse Cloud Zoo only support managing licenses for Rhino 6 or later, so you can’t add Rhino 4 and Rhino 5 license to your Rhino account,

I’ve been messing with it, and digging through emails.
I tried adding the v7 license that I think isn’t being used, and it wiped my previous setup.
I expected it would just show up as an additional optional upgrade, but I guess you guys don’t want me to have more than one license chain? haha
So, I tried putting it back the way it was but the V6 license got wiped idk…
I think all I need to do is buy a v6 license or somem, and then maybe v8 after that cause why use v7 hehe.
So, then I could give it to a colleague.
but always hard to keep track of what these colleagues are doing.
one of them might have a v6 somewhere.
I’ll try investigating this further tomorrow…
I know I had two v5’s at one point in time, but only upgraded one all the way to v8…
At another point I bought two v7’s for fun cause discount, ant then things got confusing after that lol

I’m putting more time again into this today, and looks like something on the website is now working whereas earlier it wasn’t , so that’s good wasn’t able to see licenses , but now i can lol
this is what i remember being able to do, can even see back to version 4
even see my bongo 1.0 hehe i should upgrade that sometime
maybe the trick is the url i’m using… cause one of them definitely has a GUI that works and the other does not.
this one is terrible: Rhino Accounts …?controller=licenses…
this one is nice: Rhino Accounts … report…
Got nice email back from support team, the trick was I didn’t need v6, instead just used V5 link to V7. love Rhino.
