RiR 1.29.9186.27799 crashes when I hit the ‘start’ button in Revit 2025. It produces an immediate lockup and closes the Revit window. This is working with a blank file. Corollary, when trying to access RiR settings in the dropdown, the following error occurs:

‘System.InvalidOperationException’ at Eto.
Platform instance is null. Have you created your application?

This is most likely a conflict with a 3rd party addin. I know that Climate Studio and Ladybug really updated their eto versions to avoid conflicts, if you are running either of those please update.

The CTC BIM Suite is the problem for RiR. Crash on start was consistently reproducible when the suite was enabled via the addin manager. Disabling the suite allowed RiR to start with no other issues so far.
