I have exactly same issues. When I deactive the RiR for Revit 2025, the error is gone. As long as, i have RiR active, it crushed immediately.
Here is the Version:
Rhino.Inside Revit 1.31.9214.19602
Rhino 8.20
Revit_2025.4
Furthermore, I already tried to uninstall RiR and Revit twice. It doesnāt work neither .
Is there any update solution about this issue?

Iām also getting the āSteel Add-In encountered an errorā crash
Weāve had some success on other machines using RiR 1.28, however this doesnāt work for me and causes a crash. Iām using the below:
Revit 2025.4
Rhino 8.22
RiR 1.28
Weāve been trying to solve this internally across different machines and get different results, some success, for others the file crashes on opening.
Try the latest Rhino.Inside.Revit (1.32)

Turns out it was due to having Rhino set to launch when Revit start. This has been plaguing me for months, so glad to finally get to the bottom of it.
Warning to other having this issue - make sure āStart Rhino on startupā isnāt ticked in RiR!
Hi Japhy, still have the same issue, the tab doesnt appear after the installation. Rhino 8.23.25251.13001 / RIR 1.32.9327.20567 / revit 2025.4
daily build can resolve the problem, or there is another solution. Thanks 
Edit : Updated revit to 2025.4.3 and it worked..

If you were having issues with the most recent installer, you may have a plugin/addin conflict. Also note that Revit 2025 and above require Rhino 8.
