Rhino.Inside Revit 1.0 crashes in Revit 2022

RhinoInside.Revit_1.0.7894.17525.
When I press “Start” button on the Rhino.inside tab, the Revit 2022 crashes.
But it works fine in Revit 2021

Is there a crash report? If RiR didn’t generate one and ask you to send there is also the possibility of a Revit journal.

* %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\<Product name and release>\Journals

**Example:**

The default path for Revit 2018 would be:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2018\Journals

here is the crash report in zip.
journal.0009.zip (36.6 KB)

Hi @netsonicyxf,

I can see on the journal file that Rhino is trying to load several Rhino related plugins.

  • Conveyor for Rhino.Inside
  • Bella render
  • Semantic V6

Try opening Rhino standalone and block those plugins, then try again to load Rhino.Inside on Revit.

If this does not solve the problem follow instructions here, maybe it is a conflict with a Revit Add-in.

Please share what you found back here.

The “Sofistik Rhinoceros Interface 2022” in Rhino is the culprit.

I have also found that SOFiSTiK 2022 causes the crash in Revit2022.1

Thanks for reporting.

Adding another crash reporting file here.

Hi @hali,

It looks like is ChopChop plugin that is crashing in this case.

ah… I didn’t put it on the canvas. Do I need to delete it from the library so it doesn’t crash RiR?

Unfortunately yes, Grasshopper plugins are shared between Rhino standalone and Rhino.Inside.

There is a support email on ChopChop | Food4Rhino may be developer like to know about this.
