The eye also wants its part. The current icon, yes it is minimalist, essential, but it should adapt to the dictates of the system on which it is installed: Windows 10 (mainly); in my opinion very out of place!
taking this image as a reference wouldn’t be a bad idea. A good starting point: make it smaller, in a fluent style, with a smaller colored number: it would be more captivating and better in keeping with the operating system:
