I have a problem using rhino floating licenses. We have 2 seats available on the team account. When two users try use Rhino, they are overlapping and the server tries to assign the same seat. Does anyone has a problem like this before?
Hi Cemal,
I’m not quite following.
When you say …
What is the notification exactly?
Looking at your info you have a mix of upgrades and versions, which is fine, but do realize that if someone is in Rhino 8 (since you only have one) the related Rhino 7 will not be available, or vice versa.
Hi Japhy,
Thanks for your quick reply. When I try to open Rhino 7, it says it is in use in my friend’s computer and it is asking if I want to keep it on my computer. On the account, when my friend is using Rhino, I see 1 available seat on the server but somehow I could not fetch it.
Actually, for the Rhino 8 (the related Rhino 7) seems all fine. My other colleague is using that one without any problem.
Can you post a screenshot of the message?
Without posting any personal information can you confirm the Rhino accounts involved?
You have 3 team members, are there additional people using these logins? Not anything wrong with that, just trying to understand where this is coming from. Thanks
Sure, I will post a screenshot of the message. Unfortunately, there are not any additional people. The team is using Matrix & Rhino and we all have licenses. We did not have any problem before but I think we upgraded some keys.
For the accounts I dont have the main account, my supervisor has it so I will double check with him and get back to you.
A screenshot will be great.
As far as the account, when you get the message go into the Rhino Properties>Licenses and look at who is logged in on each computer. Thanks
this is the message I got. When I checked on my computer from Rhino Properties, it seems the main account holder is using that one. It is supposed to be the team member.
i will check each computer as well so it might help me to solve the issue. Also, matrix gold has a different interface, hopefully find it.
