Thanks for the quick update!
I tested it again, and the cropped splat now persists correctly after saving and reopening the 3DM file. The Move / Rotate / Scale transforms are also retained, so the issue seems to be resolved.
This makes it much more practical to keep a 3DGS dataset aligned with its real-world GIS context across sessions in a Rhino × GIS workflow. Thanks again for the quick fix!
