Fortunately, I don’t have to care about G2.
Actually I shouldn’t even care about G1, but I almost always have to offset the surfaces to represent a plastic sheet with (more or less) constant thickness …
And I learned that offsetting G1 surfaces is much more simple. :smile:
( Not too simple if you need a closed solid, but I rarely need that … :grinning: )

Hi RM, it was a long time ago, but I had a physical object to measure by, so I believe I just started by constructing curves, and then mainly patching/sweeping/trimming.
