Rhino doesn't remember last printing settings

The question is…Do you think that MacOS is the future of cad?
When you started to think that Apple hardware was a good investment for you software development…you were wrong!!!
You do insist to align Windows features with the MacOS world creating a lot of issues and bugs.
Why all the CAD programs aren’t available on MacOS? Because Apple forces you to upgrade your hardware. I can’t upgrade my Fusion360 software on my 7 years old iMac…neither Microsoft 365…neither Rhino 8 beta!!!
I have 10 years old Windows workstations that are running good with upgraded gpus and runs smooth programs like 3ds Max or Spaceclaim or Rhino 8 WIP.
In 7/8 years you will not be able to run Rhinoceros 10 on your M2 Ultra Studio workstation.
In the meanwhile fix this issue.

Learn and use layouts.
It’s much better and you can hide objects in the details.

We use them all the time. Lay out your drawings like you do now and then set up print pages. It’s not perfect but a way better approach in my opinion.

(But you will run into frustrations like why hatches are scaled, text is the wrong size etc but you’ll get there)

As Holo mentions, layouts are built for this task and are remembered and saved in the 3dm better than some other settings, however the print dialog is in a serious state of flux as new implementations and features are being added to it. The same instance settings were currently being remembered but the Rhino restart instances are not yet. It’s on the todo list for 8.
