Rhino display bug - colors

with linewidth enabled objects color changing during zoom. /from original red to yellow and back/
see video:

Hi epiphany - as far as I can see there’s no video there…

-Pascal

Pascal, it shows fine here…

hm - weird - I just see a blank white area with an inactive Play button… anyway, I’ll see if I can work from the description and reproduce it.
@epiphany, how are you zooming? Mouse-scroll? Is the view a plan/parallel projection? Is this in a model space or a layout, or a detail in a layout, or?

-Pascal

I can’t see the video either…

Video seems to be ok:

zooming in parallel view with cmd+lmb
There are no overlapping curves. This bug occurs with Print display active only in model space

Hi epiphany, can you please post the file here or send it to tech@mcneel.com?

thanks,

-Pascal

Hi @pascal I see it here …

Red …

But not all the red is turning yellow. I wonder what the layer structure is?

«Randy

here is the file. Please enable Print Display first
Print Display (Model Viewports) ( State=On Color=Display Thickness=40 )_Thickness=80
example.3dm (581.5 KB)

Darn - I still do not see this here - @epiphany, @rhinorudi, what video cards are you guys running? (Intel 5000 here).

-Pascal

FWIW, I don’t see it here using your Print Display settings.

Just a note, I was not getting my dimensions showing up in the newest WIP last Friday …

I switched to regular Rhino, I came in Monday morning and opened WIP and the dimensions were fine. It may be a “Computer Gremlin” issue.

@pascal, mine were just screen shots of @epiphany’s video

My card is - AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB old 2011 iMac

@rhinorudi
it seems you have no Print Display active.

Print Display disabled:

Print Display enabled

I usually keep my palettes on my 2nd monitor, so they didn’t show in those screenshots.

I was just using 40 for Thickness in the first one and nothing changes. When I change thickness to 80 I am now seeing the Bug.
