i am intrigued to actually hit set to default here, but i dont have the balls just yet, is that intended? :smiley: what if i press on it? i am not ready to extinguish my entire neighbourhood just yet.

In Rhino 8 start resolution settings are no longer used. It is all automatically done by Cycles itself.

so when i click set to default it should be ok, or in that case will not do a difference anyway? i was just wondering because i had a different value at first and wanted to reset it.

You can set it to whichever value you like. It won’t affect RhinoCycles (Raytraced and Rhino Render) in Rhino 8 one bit.

ic, would it make sense to eliminate the exposed setting then?
