Rhino crashing when I change view to shaded

hello I am a very new beginner to rhino.
I have just downloaded the free trail of rhino 7.
even though I have made a very basic shape as soon as I go to change the view to shaded rhino freezes and then says “Rhino closed unexpectedly”

I have tried closing starting again but no success yet.

can any help me out

It sounds like your Mac isn’t up to the task.

Please run the Rhino “SystemInfo” command and paste the results the a reply.
Hopefully something will stand out as a likely cause and suggest a change.
