Rhino crashes when creating a SubD

Rhino 8 completely crashes when creating a SubD. Also when creating a new file and creating a SubD in the file, the programme just freezes and I’m unable to zoom, select or do anything.

Any particular reason your OpenGL is turned down so low?

Please go to File>Properties>View>OpenGL and put the slider all the way to the right.

Updating the Nvidia driver is recommended.

Can you repeat the issue when opening Rhino in Safe Mode (via windows start)

Safe mode runs without 3rd party plugins loaded. To disable plugins go to File>Properties>Plugins, sort by Plugins that do not ship with Rhino, disable and then restart Rhino

Hi,
I turned down the OpenGL because when trying to draw a polyline or a solid, no lines where showing so I saw turning down the OpenGL helped for that issue. But turning it up again worked, thank you!

I’ll also update my Nvida driver, just in case.

Hoi Emma -

What worked? I take it that it means that Rhino no longer crashes, but does it also mean that you can still see curves that you draw?
