My Rhino 8 crashes when starting up since a few weeks, the “opening screen” gets displayed as normal but when trying to open a file or start a new file, it crashes. It always happens when the progress bar displays '“Loading plugins Enscape” I’m guessing it is since the new update. I tried deleting the whole Enscape folder then reinstalling rhino, the same thing happens even though the Enscape folder is gone. It does run in Safe Mode though.
I’m guessing rolling back to an earlier version would work but I haven’t found a page to download one.
I’ve now removed it completely and now Rhino doesn’t show “Loading plugins Enscape” anymore but rather crashes during the “Loading Viewports” phase. I’ve ran a repair on the Rhino installer and it didn’t help
I have now repaired the programs you indicated, restarted my computer and updated Windows but Rhino still crashes around “Loading Viewports” phase. Maybe rolling back to an earlier Rhino version could help as it did not seem to happen before ?
Edit from 15min later : I repaired again the programs because I suspected the Windows update put them back to default and now it works !
