Very nice. Is this Cycles here? Perhaps a bit more lighting and a shade more transparency could work here too to get more depth out of the liquid.

It’s V-Ray and you right, liquid need more enhancements and also caustic effect.

Slight inward dome to top surface of liquid.

Try experiment with a light source behind but invis to camera you might have to edit some in post
