I’ve noticed a pretty annoying bug with exporting Rhino blocks to Sketchup.
After saving a file to .skp all the blocks come to Sketchup with the correct size but out of scale. If you reset the scale of the block (component) in Sketchup it would become 25.4 times larger.
I assume it has something to do with inches/mm conversion.
It also messes up with texture sizes because all the blocks are out of scale.
A small 10mm block thinks he’s a giant 254mm cuboid and places the textures accordingly.
There is a way to fix this by selecting all the imported blocks and apply ‘Scale Definition’ to them. But it requires opening Sketchup and manually fixing the issue. I believe it shouldn’t be a problem to correct the export plugin itself.
