Rhino application focus in Windows

Is there any way to prevent Rhino to steal the focus when the app starts?

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY

(sorry, I am a bit upset with this focus stealing thing).

So ridiculous. Juanma must work on his Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Juanma, Chill!

It dependes. Lots of players can contribute to Rhino stealing focus throughout startup. One of them is the splash screen. To disable it:

  1. Right-click the shortcut you use to start Rhino, then click Properties
  2. In the Target tab, change the ending part to: Rhino.exe" /nosplash

I was hoping that also setting the Run dropdown to Minimized would fix the rest, but Rhino seems to ignore it.

If getting rid of the splash screen doesn’t help, can you tell when, exactly, Rhino takes focus again? It will probably do so right when it’s done launching.

Killing the splash is not enough. When rhino starts it will always take the focus at some point. It is very annoying
