Rhino 9 WIP

I just installed Rhino 9 WIP. I’ve been exploring it’s new features, i.e. Inflate Curve, Patch etc. I’m under the impression that the WIP has been released so that, as Rhino Users work with it, bugs are uncovered and shared with the developer. That being said, I noticed that when I open Rhino 9 WIP, I’m told that it will cease running in 30 days.

I’ve put in some time migrating my settings from R8 and it would be a shame to lose all that work in 30 days. Could someone help me understand what I need to do to continue to test Rhino 9 without it ceasing to work in 30 days? Learning to use the new tools in R9WIP makes the transition to the final release of R9 smoother without a disruption to workflow.

Thanks,

Jim

There’s a new WIP pretty much every week…

So if that’s the case when I update the whip when they do a new install, does it continue to allow me to use the whip past the 30 days?

Every new WIP pushes the date ahead. The idea is to make sure the users are testing the latest versions and not reporting bugs from some past version that might have already been fixed.
