Hi!!!
I just discovered in Rhino 9 a great improvement in dimension placement. In Rhino 8, when you place a horizontal or vertical dimension (_Dim), you select two points, then a third one to position the dimension text, but when you want to place the dimension somewhere other than on the construction plane, you have to navigate between views or enable the auto CPlane in order to place the dimension on a suitable plane… Well, in Rhino 9, when the first two selected points are on an axis perpendicular to the CPlane, it figures out that you want to place the dimension somewhere other than on the CPlane, and that is really great… However, it does not work with the aligned dimension tool (_DimAligned) — is this currently being developed? Because that would be very handy..
