Rhino 9 Beta will not quit after saving on MacBookPro

Hi all, When I try to quit Rhino 9, it asks me whether I want to revert or save, I pick save and the program will not quit after saving. This has caused problems for me and files sometimes don’t get saved.. I’m not sure, but I think I’ve found a bug.

Are you sure, that it’s not just Rhino still saving the file? What’s on you screen looks like a very dense mesh, and files like that can take quite a lot of time to save, even on newer systems. What’s the file size?

Hi,

Yeah, I’m absolutely sure, as I waited for at least two or three minutes for it to save. Also, it gives me a message saying file saved, but it will not quit the program.

To make sure I’ll try it again, but it’s sporadic.

Thanks for following up. I appreciate it and would like to be in the loop as to if you find this is a reputable issue

I’m not even on Mac and just a common user, so not much more I can do to help. Hopefully one of the bigger brains will chime in, but since Rhino informs you that saving was complete, it sure sounds if something is amiss.
Hopefully it will be resolved :slight_smile:

Hi Jim -

That makes things very hard to fix. If the same steps not always lead to the same behavior, something is influencing from the sideline. Please try to find details that are required for this to happen.
